We are proud to announce our guided walking tour covering all must-see attractions in Helsinki City Centre. See the sights, hear the legends, learn the Finnish customs and feel the Helsinki way of live with all senses. The Tour is led by a energetic, academic and professional local guide.

Here is the route – We alter it a bit according the weather and events going on the tour days.
We can pick you up from a close by hotel by walking or we’ll meet at the Senate Square – Central gathering place for Centuries – where the secrets of Helsinki start to unveil. You will learn how our Capital was built from a small village to a modern Capital by a single German from Charlottenburg.
Who has not heard about the marvel of Finnish education? Helsinki University is the peak of it. Our guides that have studied through the system will enlighten how curriculum goes in practice.
We stroll to admire the marvelous signs of our Russian past to the Uspenski Cathedral. On the edge of the Market Square we’ll see the Presidential Palace and the modern sauna / Sea pool recreational center. Witness with your own eyes that Finns do swim in the Sea all year round. Acknowledge the importance of the role sauna plays in the Finnish culture and healthcare.

In the Old Market Hall the Finnish cuisine is displayed in all its colour, tastes, scents and nuances. Sample and purchase the most typical and exotic ingredients.
The City Hall of Helsinki stands to serve the citizens with exhibitions, information and yes – a rare Finnish flag on top of it.
The Havis Amanda Fountain – our equivalent to the little mermaid in Copenhagen – is the epicenter of national celebrations.
It’s been quite a walk! Time to do what locals do – sit down for a bit to relax over a cup of coffee. Finns are the biggest coffee consumers in the world. The Nordic concept of a comfortable yet productive life, coffee breaks are the main social fuel and have a huge impact to working life. In the half way of the tour you’ll have a chance to gather a bit of energy on small break. Helsinki All Star walk will continue!
Music Hall and Kansalaistori accompanied with the museum of modern art Kiasma form the new meeting ground for Helsinki locals. Witness the new national library being built on the other side of the lot. On the opposing hill the power holders gather in the Parliament House. Our academically educated Finnish guides can answer your tricky question about politics and the current situation of our Welfare State.
Unpassable sight in today’s Helsinki is the new Central Library Oodi, completed in 2018. It is the library of the future that has no equal. Especially the 2nd floor will surprise you.
The grande finale of the tour is the Rock Church. It was designed by architects and brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and built into the bedrock in 1960’s. This spectacular site is the most visited church in Helsinki and it is easy to understand why. The entrance for 4 PAX to the church is included to the price of this tour. Additional entrances will be 8 EUR per person, to be paid at the church.
