Happy New Year 2018! – Thank you

The year 2017  was amazing for Green Cap Tours. I want to thank you – our dear customer – for making it fabulous. We believe in honest and direct feedback and listening to your opinions we have been able to continuously better out tours and experiences. Results can be seen in Tripadvisor:  We have taken the no. 1 spot on food tours in Helsinki and we are in top three for the other categories. It’s truly heartwarming. When I started the company in 2015 I was returning from a long travel in South America. I had an idea to provide good times and the best local knowledge for incoming travelers in Helsinki. Best possible services for people like you and me – curious travelers, being constantly inspired our incredible mother earth.

Helsinki is not a tourist destination – Why do you want to make business in tourism here? – I’ve heard this countless times. I actually agree. Helsinki is still far from what it can, and will be, as a destination. And that’s the answer to the question.  I’ve lived now 11 years in Helsinki and during this time I’ve seen the city become vastly more attractive and the progress is still on. Our city has never been more vibrant and full of life. Helsinki is different to other Nordic capitals by it’s controversy. Throughout history we’ve had always several countries, languages and cultures in constant battle for the dominance in Finland. Nowadays, we’ve civilized to co-exist peacefully as a very versatile nation.

I’m thrilled about the possibility to provide you even better service in 2018. For the summer we have a new extended portfolio of services is guaranteed to cater your interests on all the sides on Helsinki way of life. More info on summer season (May-September) shall be posted later.
